If I would be a Scientist..... (by Atharva)

If I would be a Scientist.....

If I would be a scientist, I would make digital weapons by myself and give to the soldiers of Indian army. And from that they would defeat the enemies.
The weapons would be digital, the guns would have monitor screen on them and soldiers could talk by videos with other soldiers. I would modify the zooming device for guns so that soldiers can not only see the body of the army but also see the head and the parts of the body of the enemy. I would make a device that could catch the polluted air and store it in a device. Then I would put the device on the rocket and then leave the rocket in the space, because air does not exist in space. I will make a modified and digital filter that would purify the polluted water that comes from the factories and make it suitable for us , so that we could drink the water later.

Climate and Weather (by Kaushiki)

Climate and Weather The air is pleasant in the morning. It is warm at noon. it is cool at night. The daily changes in the air, temperature, etc are called the weather. When the air is warm, the weather is hot. When the air is cool, the weather is cold. When it is cloudy and rainy, the weather is wet. When the air is neither warm not cool, the weather is pleasant. Sometimes the weather is hot for months, we get rains during some months, then we have a long period of cold weather. When the conditions of weather at a place are the same for a longer period we call it climate. The climate is different in different seasons. We h;ave the summer, the winter, the rainy season and the spring season. the summer is a warm season. in India, it begins in April. The sun is very hot and bright. The rainy season is a period of wet weather. The winds from the sea begin to blow. These winds are called monsoon winds. They bring rain. When November comes, the winter begins. It is not very cold in t...

Modern system of communication makes it easy for us to talk to people all over the world and also to see what is happening in far awayy places. These are wonderful achievements and they have come about centuries of development. We use letters, telephones to communicate with people. There are other means also which are used to reach large number of people. Newspaper, magazines and books are read by lakhs of people. A conversation on radio or a show on T.V. or a video is heard and seen by lakhs of people. We call this, system of mass communication. Radio: People could get in touch with each other immediately by radio. In India, radio is still a very important means of communication. It is very cheap also. Films: Films developed about the same time. They quickli became an important means of sharing informatio...

Union & State Government

India has 29 states and a single Prime Minister or President can’t manage everything. Hence each state has its own government. The Constitution clearly tells the matters (subjects) which the state government will deal and the matters which the union government will deal. For example, public health and sanitation is on the state subject list.  It would be silly if each time a minister had to fly down from Delhi to check on a hospital in Satara or Bajrangipur. ( Atharva, underlined ones are optional) The  Railways , Atomic Power, Border Security, etc on the other hand, are Union subjects. The reason is that these have an effect on the entire country. INDIAN UNION GOVERNMENTS President and Prime Minister are the head.  The Supreme Court is the supreme judicial power Located in the national capital ( New Delhi) INDIAN STATE GOVERNMENTS Governor and Chief Minister are the head. The High Court is the supreme judicial power Located in the capital of th...
